School Climate Spotlight is a series produced by DJUSD School Climate Coordinator Mel Lewis in which a panel of students asks questions of administrators and school board trustees. The initial episodes, which appeared during the 2006-2007 school year were co-produced by Educational Access Cable Channel 17. The 2007-2008 episodes were co-produced by DMA.

UCTV provides the public with informational, educational and enrichment programming that draws upon the vast intellectual, scientific and creative talents of the University of California. UCTV delivers documentaries, faculty lectures, cutting-edge research symposiums and artistic performances from each of the ten UC campuses.
Channel 17 presents programs highlighting students and their programs in the DJUSD Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) classes. The shows are locally produced and co-hosted by Bob Gonzalez, recently retired music instructor, and Davis Enterprise reporter Jeff Hudson. Dance, Drama, Music, and the Visual Arts classes will present performances, projects, and an inside look into what students are doing in the arts in the Davis school district. Instructors and students will talk about experiences in their VAPA classes.
Also featured is a show highlighting InnerSpark, the California State Summer School for the Arts with director Rob Jaffe and the Sierra North Arts Project (SNAP), a part of The California Arts Project at the Cress Center at UC Davis, with teacher staff development director Sara Anderberg.
